Section 70(2) - Definition of ‘inaccurate’ of the DPA 1998
Data are inaccurate if they are incorrect or misleading as to a matter of fact.
When is data inaccurate?
The GDPR 2018 does not give a definition of the term accuracy. However, the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) states that personal data is inaccurate if it is incorrect or misleading as to any matter of fact.
